Victoria Crane Service Get a quote

Crane service areas around Victoria, TX

Requests come in from the Crossroads and the bay towns. Independent operators decide whether to travel to your site and how the travel is charged.

How distance changes a crane quote

The towns below are the ones requests come from. They are not a promise that every operator covers every town.

A crane has to reach your site before it can lift anything. That trip, called mobilization or travel, shows up on the quote as its own line or is folded into the hourly rate. Operators set it themselves, so two quotes for the same lift in Port Lavaca can differ a lot.

What moves the number: how far the crane starts from, how it travels (a truck crane drives itself, a rough-terrain crane usually arrives on a lowboy trailer, a crawler crane comes on several trucks), how long the crew is on the clock getting there, and whether a minimum number of hours applies once it arrives.

We did not find a crane company listed in Victoria itself; the nearest one we found is in San Antonio, about two hours away. For a larger crane, out-of-town travel can therefore be a real part of the price. Where each operator is based is something to ask.

Put the town, address or landmark in the form. If an operator will not travel to your town, you hear that early instead of after a long wait.

Towns we take requests from

Thirteen towns within roughly 50 miles of Victoria. We accept a request from any of them; whether a given operator comes is theirs to say.

What is different about each end of the area

Victoria

Victoria sits where US 59, US 77 and US 87 meet. The Port of Victoria is on an inland barge channel with direct access to the Gulf, has a Foreign Trade Zone and a Texas Enterprise Zone, and is served by BNSF and Union Pacific. Energy, agricultural and manufacturing cargo moves through it, and the port reported more than 1,100 barge movements and 3.5 million tons in 2023. Heavy freight means heavy pieces to unload and set.

Port Lavaca

Port Lavaca is on Lavaca Bay and is the home of the Port of Port Lavaca–Point Comfort, run by the Calhoun Port Authority. For a lift near the water, say what the crane will stand on and send a photo of the spot; ground conditions decide whether mats are needed.

Point Comfort

Point Comfort is on Lavaca Bay, and the Formosa Plastics complex is here. It is served by the Port of Port Lavaca–Point Comfort, not the Port of Victoria. Inside a plant the owner sets the rules: who may enter, what training and permits are needed and whether a written lift plan is required. We have no connection with the plant; ask the site contact what applies and mention it in your request. Plant and turnaround lifts

Send the lift details

Name your town or the job address in step three. Estimates are fine.

We pass your request to independent local operators who quote you directly. We are a quote-request service, not a crane company.
